THE CHARIOTS OF PENSACOLA CHRISTIAN MOTORCYCLE CLUB:
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

I am Elder Charles D. Thomas, Pastor of Saint James Missionary Baptist Church and Founder/CEO/Visionary for The Chariots of Pensacola Christian Motorcycle Club. Giving praise to God, I have been riding motorcycles for more than 25 years. More blessedly, God put a purpose to my passion by giving me the vision to form a Christian motorcycle club of brothers coming together in unity to be used mightily of God. The name God gave me for this group has a divine history---stemming from the way God used “chariots” to execute His purpose in Biblical times.
In the Old Testament, for example, “chariots” is often signified as a form of transportation in times of war and peace. Not only that, the New Testament depicts the use of “chariots” to carryout His great mission as written in Matthew 28:19, KJV: Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Holy Spirit…” Our “chariots” are our motorcycles---hence the name “The Chariots of Pensacola Christian Motorcycle Club”.
God gave me a great vision for this club. We are to come together in united brotherhood to do the following: pray, enjoy one another in Christian fun, ride, encourage others, influence others in a positive way, reach out to the community, provide help where needed, fellowship with other men’s ministries, serve as mentors/positive role models for the youth, minister to and help young men become all that God created them to be.
And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak and not lie: though I tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. (Habakkuk 2:2-3, KJV)
I am encouraging all to embrace the vision and allow God to continue to cause us to ride upon the high places of the earth (Isaiah 58:14) to glorify His Name and win souls for Christ. As God’s mighty brotherhood of “chariots”, we humbly accept the vision for this great mission.
